grateful

Lately I am so grateful, for the amazing people I have in my life. The people that are always there for me; no matter what. I am especially grateful for my family. I have an extended family here in Utah. The Roses and David and Dillon always make sure to take care of me. I don’t know what I would do without them. The Roses always have me over for dinner and I love watching their kids. I love those kids, they make me smile and I am so glad to have those amazing spirits in my life. I am so grateful for my sister Carrie and how she knew I was going through one of the roughest trials in my life so she flew me to San Francisco for 2 days just so she could hang out with me and I could be with her and her family. I am so grateful for my sister Erin and how she’s raised her kids and has been a great mom after what she’s gone through in the last 5 years. They sang me happy birthday and sent it to me on Tuesday and I started crying. I’ve missed them like crazy. I am grateful for my niece Samantha, we share the same birthday and she is one amazing spirit. She’s definitely a fire cracker and will fight you if you don’t make her happy, but she’s the best and I’m so lucky to have her in my life. I am grateful for my instructor Kindra, she is amazing and is always there to help me out at school. She knows how to cheer me up when I’m down and she is one of the best examples, not only to me, but to everyone. We know we can trust her and were so glad she’s finally back to teach us This week was a rough week for me, I’ve been struggling the past couple days, but I know the Lord will never give me more than I can handle. Sometimes I wish he wouldn’t trust me so much, but in the long run it will be worth it. In church today we talked about being lost and being found. We were talking about how we need to help others, and pray for opportunities to help others. I love helping people and I am always going to be there for people if they need me, but I also think that they have to want help for us to help them. I have had a few experiences where all I want to do is help someone and they don’t want it. It hurts me, but in the end I tried. I’m going to keep praying for opportunities to help people, because I would hope if I needed help someone would be there for me.

Here are some quotes that I’ve loved this week:
“If the Lord can forgive them;;;; ;;;;;;, then so can I.”
just try to keep your head up! things tend to end up better when you try to stay optimistic. there is always something to smile about :) - dillon Hepworth
Speak the truth, even if your voice shakes.
To be yourself in a world that is constantly trying to make you something else is the greatest accomplishment.
Happiness can be found , even in the darkest of times, if one only remembers to turn on the light.
Faith in God includes faith in his timing.
If you’re brave enough to say good bye, life will reward you with a new hello.
if someone wants to be a part of your life, they'll make an effort to be in it. So don't bother reserving a space in your heart for someone who doesn't make an effort to stay. The proof is in the effort.
Your past is just a story. And once you realize this it has no power over you.
Hate is easy, love takes courage.
In prosperity our friends know us; in adversity we know our friends.
Sometimes you have to walk alone just to show that you can.

I am so grateful for the Lord and the fact that he listens to me every night. I know he is there for me and I don’t know what I would do without him!
